To get some insight into the Atlas massage according to the HumanUP method, HumanUP Netherlands applies a number of conditions. 
If you make an appointment for a back / neck massage or Atlas massage with us, we assume that you have viewed the conditions below and that you agree. 

General conditions 
This is understood to mean that the client (Client or Customer ) has made an oral or written appointment with the Treatment Provider for a single or complete treatment. The Practitioner is entitled to suspend his activities if the Client does not provide security at his request for payment and other obligations arising from the agreement, without prejudice to the Client's obligation to reimburse the Practitioner's work already performed and costs incurred. The Practitioner maintains the right to refuse a Customer, without stating the reason. When making an appointment, the full name, telephone number, email address and home address are always noted for administration. In the case of a migraine background, an anamneses form will be emailed to the Client, which must be completed before the appointment. It is important that this form is completed because the migraine symptom receives specific attention from us and the Client deserves more extensive treatment and advice. 

Agreements made can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the appointment. Appointments canceled within 24 hours will be charged to you in full. This also applies to non-compliance with agreements. In the unlikely event that you are prevented, unwell or ill, it is allowed to let someone else in your place go to the appointment. To keep the services as cheap as possible, HumanUP only works on the basis of prepayment or cash payment. HumanUP also offers the possibility to pay digitally via the mobile phone, immediately after the treatment. Customers who enter into a monthly agreement will receive the authorization form and cancellation form with the relevant conditions. HumanUP Nederland uses rates including any other additional costs, such as location costs and sample costs. 
Privacy is respected by HumanUP and its employees. 

In addition, HumanUP applies medical professional secrecy and the legal requirements regarding personal registration (Personal Data Protection Act). All communication between the Practitioner and the Client will be treated confidentially. Information may only be passed on to the partner, family, friends or other (para) physician after explicit permission from the customer. 
Data is stored for a data investigation and any complaints procedures. 

During the intake, the presence of the correct micro-mobility of the cervical vertebrae and spinal column is inspected and discussed with the Client. The total ergonomics and statics of the Client will be evaluated through a careful and methodical posture assessment. Competencies are evaluated on the need for the Atlas massage according to the HumanUP method, including the most suitable techniques for improving and restoring body posture. These techniques are effective and not harmful. 
The HumanUP method approach is always holistic, global and focused on the need for aligning the 1st cervical vertebra. Not only the interesting district will be evaluated, but the back and body posture as a whole. The treatment with the HumanUP method involves manual actions that, with a specially made device, perform techniques to relax the muscles and soft tissue. The treatment is very effective and does not require the active cooperation of the Customer. 
The task of the Practitioner is not only to administer the treatment, but also to provide advice on how the Client can retain the results obtained. Often the Practitioner also uses other natural therapeutic treatments to achieve and maintain the intended goal; taking the physical complaints from the Customer. 
The Practitioner will execute the agreement to the best of its knowledge and ability and in accordance with the requirements of good workmanship. All this on the basis of the current state of science. 

Are you being treated by a doctor, physical therapist, specialist or other, and / or do you use medication? Consult this specialist if you can get a massage during the treatment period. The practitioner will never claim to be able to cure certain diseases or conditions, precisely because the Atlas massage is not a medical treatment. 

Likewise, the practitioner will never recommend stopping or changing any regular medication or treatment recommended by a physician. The practitioner refrains from making medical diagnoses and gives his own findings and opinions instead. The customer is responsible for the information and the accuracy thereof that he / she provides to the practitioner during the intake interview and via the questionnaire. In this way the practitioner can perform the Atlas massage as responsibly and safely as possible. 
The Client makes use of services of the practitioner at his own free will and at his own risk and therefore he cannot be held liable for any damage caused before / during / after participation in / use of treatments and / or services. The practitioner is not responsible for damage and / or injury resulting from the concealment of medical information such as physical and / or mental disorders, injuries and medication use. 
The Practitioner will execute the agreement to the best of its knowledge and ability and in accordance with the requirements of good workmanship. All this on the basis of the current state of science. The Client ensures that all data, which the Practitioner indicates to be necessary (for example, pregnancy or potential pregnancy) or which the Client should reasonably understand to be necessary for the performance of the agreement, is provided to the Practitioner in a timely manner. 
The Practitioner is not liable for damage of whatever nature caused by the Practitioner based on incorrect and / or incomplete information provided by or on behalf of the Client. The Practitioner is not liable for any unexpected side effects of the treatment which, prior to starting treatment, were not sufficient reason to believe that these side effects could occur. 
The Practitioner is also not liable for the absence of the intended effect during or after a treatment or due to early termination of the treatment by the Client. At HumanUP and its employees, expertise and quality are of paramount importance. Should the Client nevertheless have a complaint, we request that the client immediately inform HumanUP 's management. HumanUP and the Client first try to work it out together. If the Practitioner is liable for any damage, the Practitioner 's liability is limited to a maximum of twice the invoice value of the treatment. The liability of the Practitioner is in any case always limited to the amount paid out by his insurer where appropriate. The Practitioner is only liable for direct damage. Direct damage is exclusively understood to mean the reasonable costs for determining the cause and extent of the damage, insofar as the determination relates to damage within the meaning of these terms and conditions, any reasonable costs incurred for the defective performance of the Practitioner have the agreement answered, insofar as these can be attributed to the Practitioner and reasonable costs incurred to prevent or limit damage, insofar as the Client demonstrates that these costs have led to the limitation of direct damage as referred to in these general terms and conditions. The Practitioner is never liable for indirect damage, including consequential damage, lost profit, lost savings and damage due to business interruption. If certain parts of the Agreement are fulfilled by third parties, the Practitioner is not liable for these parts and for the actions of these third parties. If the Practitioner does not always demand strict compliance with these conditions, this does not mean that the provisions thereof do not apply, or that the Practitioner would to some extent lose the right to demand strict compliance with the provisions of these conditions in other cases. 

With home exercises, nutrition and ortho-molecular information, the Practitioner only gives general information to interested parties. This information is provided for free on the HumanUP website; www.HumanUP.nl
In this way, interested parties can obtain basic information about possible body posture complaints and their goals and effects. It is not intended as a substitute for medical treatment. The HumanUP Practitioner makes every effort to give the advice correctly. HumanUP and the Practitioner cannot be held responsible if readers misinterpret and / or apply this information without additional advice. Hereby the Practitioner provides written advice (self-management) specifically on general complaints reduction objective, taking into account the information provided by the customer, findings from scientific investigations, the applicable rules, guidelines and good exercises for that target group. In this way, the relevant Client obtains nutritional supplementation and lifestyle advice about the complaint reduction target that he / she has chosen, suitable for his / her target group (gender and age category). 
The Practitioner's advice is result-oriented, but cannot guarantee a result, since the client is partly responsible for this and the effects of Atlas massage and lifestyle adjustments can vary individually. HumanUP does not accept any liability for damage and injury resulting from or related to the follow-up of the advice provided, unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of HumanUP. 
However, the Customer is personally responsible for assessing which of the described complaints and solutions suits him / her personally best. Due to these own choices and interpretations, but also not including all personal information in the advice, this service does not fall under the official understanding of any professional advice, but falls under self-management. 

During the guidance and advice, the Practitioner can only help the Client with the choices to be made. The advisory service is comparable to reading published scientific studies, whereby the specific readership is taken into account as much as possible. 
HumanUP.nl supports its customers and readers with written / digital information in the form of nutritional advice, supplementation advice, exercise advice and treatment advice. HumanUP.nl is the only one with the copyright on its own HumanUp texts and materials. It is absolutely not permitted to reproduce obtained texts and materials from HumanUP and / or to provide them to third parties, unless HumanUP has given explicit permission for this. 
If this is nevertheless done, we can fully recover the damage, including the lost turnover, from the offender.
